Banksy vs Robbo WRH WD checkmate

Christmas day is traditionally, in London at least, an occasion for graffiti writers to brush the turkey off their chops and head to the tunnels and lay-ups for some seasonal decorative activities. Banksy got his Christmas celebrations in early by hitting Regents Canal in Camden last weekend. In doing so, this spectacular piece caused uproar among London’s old school graffiti writers and if you want to get a sense of the outrage

What happened to the music??

Its 6:30am on a Saturday morning and as per my usual Saturday morning ritual i have Rage flashing the usual barrage of pop tunes across my 42" plasma tv. Now, normally i dont really care whats on it because its just on for a bit of background noise. Its also better than anything else that's on at this hour. This morning i decided to watch it for half an hour or so and i'm left wondering....what has happened to the state of music these days?!

In one track i have some overweight 'rapper' (and i use the term loosely) pulling funny faces as he sings (yet again, used loosely) to some dodgy, vampire inspired filmclip. For those of you playing at home, you'll know that i'm talking about Timbaland's new joint. It is utter crap!

After this is a UK RnB artist by the name of Jay Sean. Now, i'll be the first to admit i dont mind a bit of RnB, but his inclusion of some Lil Wayne 'rapper' (loosely used again) got me really thinking about music these days. Now, Jay Sean can sing, but this Lil Wayne makes me want to lash out and stab someone. Putting on a baby's voice doesn't appeal to me at all. Yo, open your mouth when you rap....its really not that hard!! Just a side note, wearing a red shirt that says 'Communist' on it, doesn't make you cool either

Ah shit.....Lil Wayne's in the next film clip. Thank you Shakira for employing this useless piece of the music industry to be in your filmclip

New Air Jordans!!!!

It's hard to believe that it has been over 25 years of Michael Jordan's signature line of basketball shoes, but MJ continues to add to his legacy with his latest release - the Air Jordan 2010. The new shoe features a range of performance enhancements too long to list, including an asymmetrical collar for better natural ankle support, bottom loaded Zoom Air for better court feel and agility, and the unique see through window which represents Jordan's ability to see through his opponents. The shoe will be featured on the court in the NBA by Dwyane Wade.
